Press release

Eiffage is building four solar power plants
for the NOOR Atlas programme in Morocco

Eiffage, through its subsidiary Eiffage Énergie Systèmes, is building four solar power plants and connecting them to the grid on behalf of MASEN (Moroccan Agency for Sustainable Energy) for the NOOR Atlas programme in Morocco.

The aim of the NOOR Atlas programme is to capitalise on Morocco’s exceptionally sunny weather to reduce the country’s energy dependence and boost its electricity production capacity. It will also contribute to expanding the solar sector nationally.

Eiffage Énergie Systèmes is responsible for the design, supply, construction, installation, commissioning and operation and maintenance for seven years of four solar power plants in the northeast of the Kingdom with combined power output of 225 MWp: NOOR Ain Beni Mathar (121 MWp), NOOR Enjil (42 MWp), NOOR Boundnib (33 MWp) and NOOR Bouanane (29 MWp).

Works began in early 2026, with delivery scheduled mid-2027.

As Europe’s leading installer of turnkey ground-mounted solar plants, with more than 130 installed around the world, Eiffage Énergie Systèmes is an active contributor to the development of major renewable-energy infrastructure. This project highlights the Group’s ability to support regions in their energy transition and help them consolidate their energy mix.
