AMA CORP PLC reduces its cost base while preserving XpertEye’s key functions

AMA CORPORATION PLC (“AMA”, ISIN GB00BNKGC51, ticker ALAMA), a publisher and integrator of secure productivity applications designed for connected mobile workers, announces a significant adjustment to its organization aimed at reducing its cost base while preserving the resources required to operate and maintain its XpertEye platform.

Despite the technological enhancements made to XpertEye, the pace of adoption of new solutions remains slower than anticipated. In an economic environment that continues to weigh on investment decisions and lengthen sales cycles, the current level of revenue does not support the Company’s existing cost structure.

AMA has therefore initiated a further adjustment to its organization designed to significantly lower its break-even point while retaining the skills and expertise required to operate XpertEye and support its customers.

This reorganization will result in the elimination of 8 positions in France through economic redundancies. Upon completion, AMA will retain a team of 11 employees in France, across R&D, sales, customer support and corporate functions. The Group will also maintain its subsidiaries in the United States and Germany, which together employ 4 people.

This streamlined organization is structured to ensure the continuity of the XpertEye platform, its infrastructure and the services provided to customers.

The cost associated with this reorganization is estimated at approximately €400k. Upon completion, annualized payroll costs are expected to decrease from approximately €2.1 million to €1.45 million, representing annual savings of approximately €650k. These savings will be supplemented by reductions in external costs.

At the same time, the Group is actively pursuing strategic alternatives aimed at supporting the development of XpertEye and, where appropriate, maximizing the value of its technology and commercial assets.
