SANHA GmbH & Co. KG reports continued positive business performance in the first half of 2026 – first publication of a sustainability report in accordance with the CSRD

  • Revenues rose to EUR 79.8 million (including BTE, consolidated for the first time); SANHA’s core business grows organically by 12.5% to EUR 69.2 million
  • Gross profit, adjusted for exchange rate gains, rises to EUR 45.4 million
  • EBITDA of EUR 11.0 million, up on the previous year; margin below the previous year’s level
  • Single-digit growth in the core business expected for the full year 2026
  • First-ever voluntary sustainability reporting in accordance with the CSRD

Essen, 14 August 2026 – SANHA GmbH & Co. KG, one of the leading manufacturers of pipework systems, recorded a significant increase in revenue and a slight improvement in operating profit year-on-year in the first half of 2026, against a backdrop of a market environment that remained challenging. Revenues, including BTE Biegetechnik Engineering GmbH (BTE), which was consolidated for the first time, rose by 29.8% to EUR 79.8 million (first half of 2025: EUR 61.5 million). Excluding BTE, SANHA’s core business grew organically by 12.5% to EUR 69.2 million. This development was driven by another strong performance in international business, as well as dynamic growth in the industrial and OEM sectors. The markets in the Benelux countries, France and Central Europe performed particularly well. International turnover remained at a high level, accounting for 74.0% of the total, even following the integration of BTE. With the acquisition of all shares in BTE Biegetechnik Engineering GmbH on 30 April 2026 (economic transfer with retroactive effect from 1 January 2026), SANHA also specifically expanded its industrial expertise in the field of mechanical pipe processing during the first half of the year. The integration has been proceeding smoothly since the closing.

Gross profit (adjusted for exchange rate gains) rose to EUR 45.4 million (first half of 2025: EUR 38.0 million). Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose compared with the same period last year to EUR 11.0 million (H1 2025: EUR 10.0 million). The EBITDA margin stood at 13.7% (H1 2025: 16.3%). Operating profit (EBIT) rose to EUR 7.4 million (1st half of 2025: EUR 7.0 million) despite higher depreciation and amortisation following significant investments in recent years, corresponding to an EBIT margin of 9.3% (1st half of 2025: 11.3%).

Bernd Kaimer, managing partner of the family-run business: “In the first half of the year, our successful internationalisation strategy and our broadly diversified range of products and sectors once again proved their worth. With the acquisition of BTE, we are also specifically strengthening our industrial expertise and our position as a reliable development partner for OEM customers. The fact that we were also able to increase turnover and operating profit organically in what remains a challenging and geopolitically uncertain environment confirms that we are on the right strategic course.”

In the first half of the year, SANHA finalised its first voluntary CSRD sustainability report in accordance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) for the 2025 financial year, with the aim of strengthening the Group’s future viability and resilience. Although not yet subject to reporting requirements under current legislation, SANHA is thereby going beyond statutory requirements and establishing structures, data collection processes and key performance indicator systems at an early stage to meet future reporting obligations. In addition, SANHA is publishing an ESG brochure that concisely summarises the key content of the report.

For the second half of the year, SANHA expects positive momentum for revenue growth from, amongst other things, the switch to lead-free materials – an area in which the company has been demonstrating its pioneering role in sustainability since 2009 – from growing demand in the refrigeration and air-conditioning sectors, and from momentum in the German heating market. For 2026 as a whole, SANHA anticipates single-digit revenue growth in its core business – significantly higher including BTE – against a backdrop of slightly rising demand, with EBITDA and EBIT also expected to rise slightly.
