EQS-Adhoc: thyssenkrupp nucera AG & Co. KGaA: Preliminary Financial Figures for Q3/9M 2025/26; Sales and Earnings Slightly Above Market Expectations Due to Timing EffectsEQS-Ad-hoc: thyssenkrupp nucera AG & Co. KGaA / Key word(s): Results / Quarter Based on preliminary and unaudited figures, thyssenkrupp nucera AG & Co. KGaA ("thyssenkrupp nucera") expects to report Group sales of €145 million for the third quarter of 2025/26 (Q3 2024/25: €184 million). Sales development was above previous expectations. The main reason for this was the earlier-than-expected recognition of sales from major new-build projects, particularly in the Chlor-Alkali (CA) segment, where project contributions originally anticipated for the fourth quarter of 2025/26 were already realized in the third quarter. In the Green Hydrogen (gH2) segment, sales are expected to amount to €36 million (Q3 2024/25: €103 million), while sales in the Chlor-Alkali (CA) segment are expected to reach €109 million (Q3 2024/25: €81 million). Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) for the third quarter of 2025/26 are expected to amount to approximately €–2 million (Q3 2024/25: €0 million). Compared with the prior-year quarter, this represents a slight decline, while exceeding market expectations. EBIT in the gH2 segment amounted to €–17 million (Q3 2024/25: €–13 million), while EBIT in the CA segment reached €15 million (Q3 2024/25: €13 million). An improved gross margin and active cost management largely offset the lower sales volume compared with the prior year. Order intake increased to €81 million in the third quarter of 2025/26 (Q3 2024/25: €63 million). Of this amount, €3 million was attributable to the gH2 segment (Q3 2024/25: €13 million) and €78 million to the CA segment (Q3 2024/25: €50 million). Group order backlog stood at €638 million as of June 30, 2026. In the first nine months of 2025/26, thyssenkrupp nucera generated Group sales of €354 million (9M 2024/25: €663 million), of which €80 million were attributable to the gH2 segment (9M 2024/25: €377 million) and €273 million to the CA segment (9M 2024/25: €286 million). Group EBIT declined to €–69 million in the first nine months of 2025/26 (9M 2024/25: €4 million). The decline in EBIT was primarily driven by higher costs incurred in connection with new-build projects in the second quarter of 2025/26, as well as the termination of a project contract in the United States within the gH2 segment. EBIT in the gH2 segment decreased to €–107 million (9M 2024/25: €–39 million), while EBIT in the CA segment amounted to €38 million (9M 2024/25: €43 million). Order intake increased to €471 million in the first nine months of 2025/26 (9M 2024/25: €241 million). Of this amount, €184 million was attributable to the gH2 segment (9M 2024/25: €23 million) and €288 million to the CA segment (9M 2024/25: €218 million). All published figures and statements are preliminary and unaudited. The quarterly statement Q3/9M 2025/26 will be published as planned on August 12, 2026, at 7:00 a.m. CEST. The figures for Q2 2025/26 and 6M 2025/26 were adjusted retrospectively in accordance with IAS 8.41. The adjustment increased sales by €12 million and EBIT by €2 million in the CA segment.
