Milestone completes a three-year security certification roadmap and advances secure storage for regulated industries and mission-critical applications

NEW TAIPEI CITY, Sept. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- UD info today announced that the cryptographic module integrated into its DB Series SSD Drives has achieved FIPS 140-3 validation through the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cryptographic Module Validation Program (CMVP). NIST CMVP Certificate No. 5479, issued August 12, 2026, confirms validation at Overall Level 2.

The milestone provides independent assurance that the DB Series cryptographic module meets recognized security requirements. It also helps customers address security, compliance, and procurement requirements across government, critical infrastructure, and other mission-critical applications.
