R&S Group signs frame contract with NeXtWind

24 September 2026 –R&S Group Holding AG (SIX: RSGN) has signed a framework agreement with NeXtWind, an independent green power producer, for the project-based supply of power transformers. The agreement strengthens the existing cooperation between the two companies in a key component of the NeXtWind wind farm projects. The products will be supplied through the R&S Group brand ZREW, which specializes in power transformers for transmission grids and renewable energy projects.

NeXtWind is an independent power generator and project developer based in Berlin and London that specializes in the revitalization of existing wind farms. The company acquires established wind energy projects at suitable locations and further develops them through repowering, technical modernization, and smart plant management. The focus is on the sustainable development of existing wind sites and the expansion of a high-performance energy and grid infrastructure for future energy supply.

For R&S Group, the agreement marks a further step in the expansion of its wind energy business and confirms the demand underpinning its capacity investments. The agreement supports the procurement of the power transformers that NeXtWind will need in the coming years to implement its planned repowering portfolio.
