HÖRMANN Industries publishes interim report for the first half of 2026EQS-News: Hörmann Industries GmbH / Key word(s): Half Year Report/Half Year Results HÖRMANN Industries publishes interim report for the first half of 2026
Kirchseeon, 31 August 2026 – HÖRMANN Industries GmbH (corporate bond, ISIN: NO0012938325) published its financial results for the first half of 2026. Overall, the HÖRMANN Group performed steadily in the first six months, despite a continuing challenging economic environment. Accordingly, sales of EUR 336.7 million were generated, slightly above the prior-year level (previous year: EUR 335.2 million). Gross profit decreased by EUR 3.3 million to EUR 167.5 million. This was primarily due to a EUR 13.4 million increase in cost of materials to EUR 190.4 million (previous year: EUR 177.0 million), while changes in inventories rose by EUR 9.2 million to EUR 21.1 million (previous year: EUR 11.9 million). Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) decreased in the first half of 2026 from EUR 18.6 million to EUR 15.4 million; earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) amounted to EUR 8.5 million (previous year: EUR 12.3 million). In particular, higher cost of materials resulting from a changed product and service mix, as well as the high volume of projects in progress, weighed on operating earnings. The HÖRMANN Group’s incoming orders and order backlog showed positive trends during the reporting period. As of 30 June 2026, the order backlog increased by EUR 10.7 million compared to 31 December 2025 (EUR 581.0 million), reaching EUR 591.7 million. Incoming orders rose by 5.3% to EUR 350.7 million in the first half of 2025 compared with the same period of the previous year (EUR 332.9 million). As a result, the book-to-bill ratio stood at approximately 1.1. The Group’s equity amounted to EUR 147.5 million as of 30 June 2026 (31 December 2025: EUR 146.7 million). Due to an increase in total assets - in particular resulting from a EUR 27.7 million rise in inventories, which was primarily attributable to the high volume of work-in-progress on project orders - the equity ratio decreased slightly to 35.2% (31 December 2025: 36.5%). Net cash and cash equivalents decreased to EUR 53.1 million due to the reporting date and payments made toward inventories (31 December 2025: EUR 82.3 million; 30 June 2025: EUR 61.0 million). Johann Schmid-Davis, CFO of HÖRMANN Industries GmbH: “We continued to keep the HÖRMANN Group on a stable course in the first half of the year. For the time being, we will likely have to get used to the fact that high economic uncertainty is the new normal. We are very pleased that our company continues to stand on a very solid financial footing, with net cash and cash equivalents of EUR 53.1 million and a comfortable financing structure.” Forecast for the full year 2026 confirmed Taking into account business performance in the first half of 2026 and after assessing the current order backlog, management continues to expect sales of between EUR 700 million and EUR 760 million for the current full year. In addition, EBIT of approximately EUR 30 million is expected. However, HÖRMANN Industries’ outlook depends significantly on further geopolitical developments and their impact on the global economy. The consolidated interim report of HÖRMANN Industries GmbH for the period from 1 January to 30 June 2026, is available at https://www.hoermann-gruppe.com/en/investor-relations/financial-reports/financial-publications-original.
