Semperit sells its stake in German M+R DichtungstechnikEQS-News: Semperit AG Holding / Key word(s): Disposal Corporate News Semperit sells its stake in German M+R Dichtungstechnik Vienna, September 1, 2026 – As part of its portfolio optimization and focus on strategic growth areas, the Semperit Group has sold its stake in the profile manufacturer M+R Dichtungstechnik GmbH, based in Seligenstadt, Germany. The buyer is the Trelleborg Group, a global leader in engineered polymer solutions listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange. The signing and closing of the transaction took place today. “The sale is another step toward sharpening our portfolio. We are focusing our business even more consistently on attractive growth and innovation areas, optimizing our production footprint, and reducing complexity within the Group. In doing so, we are strengthening the foundation for profitable and sustainable growth,” says Semperit CEO Manfred Stanek. M+R Dichtungstechnik, with its profile business, was part of the Semperit Industrial Applications (SIA) division, which encompasses hoses and profiles. M+R’s specialization in customized facade solutions followed a more project-oriented business approach than the division’s core business, which is focused on series production. M+R has a strong market position in its segment and an experienced, highly qualified team. In the 2025 financial year, the company generated external sales of approximately EUR 7.4 million with a workforce of about 20 employees. Got any questions?
