Welcoming approximately 671 thousand foreign patients in 2021, Turkiye stepped up a gear in 2022. Offering a wide range of services, local healthcare organizations attracted around 1.3 million medical tourists last year. Germany also preferred Turkiye for health.

Berlin - Offering a wide range of services from flights, transfers, and accommodation to consultancy, special programs, and treatment, local health institutions in Turkiye attracted 1,258,382 medical tourists to the country in 2022. While the number of people traveling to Turkiye for health tourism almost doubled compared to the previous year, most of these came from European countries, with Germany ranking first.

The Aesthetics Crew, which serves with its clinics in the cultural capital Istanbul and tourism capital Antalya of Turkiye—a popular health destination for Germany—, hosts health tourists from many countries, especially Germany. The aesthetics clinic increased its number of clients by 300% compared to 2021 and offers services in areas such as dental, obesity, optics, varicose veins and veins, hair transplantation, and body contouring to the patients, accompanied by a team of healthcare professionals and state-of-the-art medical devices.

Plastic Surgeon Feridun Elmas from The Aesthetics Crew said, "Turkiye is increasing its momentum of growth in medical tourism with its experienced professionals in the field and medical services equipped with superior technology. As it facilitates access to quality services, it is becoming more and more attractive for health tourists."

Elmas continued, "Turkiye is the first choice in health tourism of many countries, especially in Europe and the Middle East. As The Aesthetics Crew, we welcome patients from many different geographies of the world in our clinics in Istanbul and Antalya. Especially Germany prefers Turkiye for health."

Elmas concluded: "We stand by our patients throughout the whole process from planning to the organization, from consultancy to creating a special program, from treatment to recovery. With the services we offer through our business partners, we transform the entire process of their trips into a comfortable experience from beginning to end."
