OPmobility expands in Morocco with a new Exterior body parts production plant in KenitraParis, October 19, 2026 OPmobility expands in Morocco with a new Exterior body parts production plant in KenitraOPmobility inaugurated today its fourth manufacturing plant in the Kingdom of Morocco, further reinforcing its long-term commitment to the country and contributing to the development of its automotive industry bringing the Group’s workforce in Morocco to more than 1,400 employees. Located in Kenitra, the new facility will manufacture exterior body parts and create more than 100 positions and supply a major international customer. This investment strengthens OPmobility’s industrial footprint in one of Morocco’s leading automotive hubs and reflects the Group’s determination to support its customers with local, competitive and high-quality manufacturing operations. The official inauguration of the site was held in the presence of Laurent Burelle, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OPmobility, members of the Group’s Board of Directors, and Félicie Burelle, Chief Executive Officer of OPmobility. The new plant is dedicated to the production of exterior body parts and features highly automatized manufacturing, handling and storage technologies. Located within the Atlantic Free Zone, one of Morocco’s leading automotive clusters, and close to OPmobility’s existing plant established in 2018, the new site will create more than 100 additional positions, further strengthening the Group’s footprint in Kenitra to 510 employees. It benefits from direct access to customers, suppliers, and logistics providers, enabling efficient operations and optimized supply chain flows. Designed to meet growing customer demand, the facility will strengthen OPmobility’s industrial capacities while contributing to the development of local expertise in manufacturing, maintenance, logistics and quality. Present in Morocco since 2013, OPmobility has steadily expanded its activities and now operates four manufacturing facilities across the country, two in Kenitra and two in Tangier. The Group offers local expertise in energy storage systems, lighting systems and exterior body parts, serving several major automotive manufacturers. Félicie Burelle, Chief Executive Officer of OPmobility, stated: “Since establishing our activities in Morocco, we have developed strong industrial expertise and built highly qualified and committed local teams. With industrial operations in both Tangier and Kenitra, OPmobility has built a complementary manufacturing footprint that contributes to the development of Morocco’s automotive sector while supporting customer programs for local and international markets. This is in line with our diversification strategy in geographies, customers, and technologies for all types of mobility.” About OPmobilityOPmobility is a world leader in sustainable mobility and a technology partner to mobility players worldwide.
