Statement Accor

PARIS, 19 march 2026 - Following the publication of a report questioning the Group's human rights practices, Accor wishes to provide the following answers and clarifications: The Group firmly denies involvement in the alleged systemic exploitation of human or child trafficking.

At this stage, and following the publication of this report, the Group is conducting a detailed internal investigation and has hired an external firm to verify the cited facts. The conclusions of these verifications will be made public. Should any of these allegations be confirmed, the Group would take all appropriate measures and reserve the right to prosecute parties involved in such practices.

For over twenty years, the Group has made the fight against human trafficking and the sexual exploitation of children, a priority. Stringent policies and processes are in place as well as regular audits and verifications. The last internal audit was completed in 2025.The Group trains its employees and collaborators working under Accor brands to detect and combat sexual trafficking and the exploitation of children.

Regarding alleged links with Jeffrey Epstein, the Group also wishes to clarify the following: Sebastien Bazin met Jeffrey Epstein once, over twenty years ago, in a professional context during a meeting that brought together several investors. The remaining allegations do not in any way establish a link between Jeffrey Epstein and the Group, as they refer to public information that does not involve the Group, nor does it have knowledge of.
