Bilfinger adjusts its outlook for financial year 2026. The reason for the adjusted outlook is the expected business performance in the second half of the year, which is falling significantly short of the original assumptions, partly due to the continuing geopolitical uncertainties. The Executive Board of Bilfinger has therefore resolved program “Agile” today. This will increase the company’s flexibility and enable it to respond more quickly to changing market conditions.

Bilfinger now expects revenue of €5.3 to €5.7 billion for financial year 2026 (previously: €5.4 to €5.9 billion) and an EBITA margin of 3.2 to 3.6 percent (previously: 5.8 to 6.2 percent). Taking into account the one-off costs associated with program “Agile”, this corresponds to an adjusted EBITA margin of 4.6 to 5.0 percent. The company expects free cash flow in the range from €180 to 220 million (previously: €250 to 300 million).

Bilfinger foresees one-off costs affecting earnings of approximately €75 million for program “Agile” in financial year 2026. Once the program is fully implemented, the company expects an annual contribution of approximately €75 million starting in financial year 2028.

The mid-term targets 2030 with average revenue growth of 8 to 10 percent p.a., including acquisitions, an EBITA margin of 8 to 9 percent and cash conversion rate of ≥ 90 percent are confirmed unchanged.
