Zurich, 21 November 2025 – Effective 1 December 2025, Bernardo de Barros Franco will join Cembra as Chief Customer & Growth Officer and member of the Management Board.

With the appointment of Bernardo de Barros Franco as Chief Customer & Growth Officer, Cembra is further bundling and complementing its customer, marketing and digital expertise to accelerate growth and innovation across its businesses.

Bernardo de Barros Franco brings more than 25 years of experience in developing, scaling, and monetising digital products across fintech, digital banking, e-commerce, SaaS and marketplaces. He has held senior leadership roles at companies such as Mercado Libre, OLX (a Prosus company) and Uber. He also launched SumUp’s digital bank in Brazil and founded several startups. Bernardo de Barros Franco holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering and an MBA.
