Compagnie du Bois Sauvage increases its stake in Eaglestone to support its long-term development

Brussels, 30 September 2026 - Compagnie du Bois Sauvage announces its participation in the capital increase of Eaglestone, a property developer active in Belgium, France and Luxembourg. This transaction continues Compagnie du Bois Sauvage's support for Eaglestone and its management team in a market environment that remains challenging for the real estate sector. It is intended to strengthen the Group's resources on a lasting basis, enabling it to continue implementing its strategy and to be in a position to seize opportunities that may arise in the residential segments.

As part of this overall capital increase of EUR 32.7 million, Compagnie du Bois Sauvage will convert EUR 8.1 million of shareholder loans into equity and subscribe for EUR 15 million in the capital increase. Upon completion of the transaction, its stake in Eaglestone will increase from 30% to 47.1% of the share capital.

This decision reflects Compagnie du Bois Sauvage's confidence in the strategy pursued by Eaglestone's co-CEOs, Gaétan Clermont and Nicolas Orts, as well as in their ability to continue adapting the Group to developments in the real estate market.

Over the past several years, Eaglestone has undertaken a major transformation of its business model, reduced its debt and progressively refocused its portfolio. Today, the Group's portfolio is largely geared towards residential property, student accommodation and other living-related assets, which offer the strongest development prospects in the current environment.

This transaction is in line with the strategic priorities presented by Compagnie du Bois Sauvage at the beginning of 2026. At that time, the Group reaffirmed its ambition to actively support the entrepreneurs and management teams of its portfolio companies in their long-term value-creation projects, while moving its Real Estate division towards a self-financed development model. This investment will be financed in full by capital returns and loan repayments that the real estate activities will generate by the end of 2026 and in 2027.
