Giotto.ai Collaborates with SAP to Advance AI Reasoning Capabilities in SAP Joule AgentsDynamics Group AG / Key word(s): Miscellaneous PRESS RELEASE Giotto.ai Collaborates with SAP to Advance AI Reasoning Capabilities in SAP Joule Agents Lausanne, 8 June 2026. Giotto.ai, the pioneering Swiss AI Lab, today announced a collaboration with SAP, a global leader in enterprise applications and business AI, to explore the integration of advanced AI reasoning capabilities into SAP Joule Agents. The rise of the Autonomous Enterprise, where human expertise and judgement remain at the core while systems operate with increasing independence and intelligence, demands a new level of robust, efficient, and controllable reasoning as organizations move beyond basic automation. Together, the companies will explore the use of Giotto.ai’s technology to advance SAP Joule Agents for enhanced decision-making within enterprise workflows. Giotto.ai, a Swiss AI company originating from EPFL, the Lausanne-based federal technology university, has developed a new class of compact yet highly capable models focused on reasoning efficiency, delivering strong performance while remaining deployable within controlled enterprise environments. Giotto.ai will collaborate with SAP on targeted pilot projects to deploy these capabilities in enterprise contexts, with a focus on enhancing SAP Joule Agents in scenarios requiring structured reasoning, reliability, and deep integration with enterprise data. Unlike traditional AI models that rely heavily on centralized infrastructure, Giotto.ai’s system is designed to operate as a portable reasoning layer, enabling secure deployment within private environments while maintaining high performance. This effort reflects a broader shift in enterprise AI from generic models to multi-agent systems that can operate reliably in complex, regulated environments, making Giotto.ai’s collaboration with SAP a key step toward moving its technology from frontier research into large-scale enterprise deployment. Aldo Podestà, CEO at Giotto.ai, said : “We are entering a phase where enterprise AI must go beyond basic use cases into more ambitious ones that require advanced reasoning and (very) large context understanding. Working with SAP allows us to validate our technology in some of the most demanding real-world environments.” Yaad Oren, Head of SAP Research and Innovation, said: “As enterprise AI evolves towards more autonomy, advanced reasoning becomes a foundational capability. Our collaboration with Giotto.ai allows us to explore new approaches to efficient, controllable reasoning that are purpose-built for enterprise environments. This work directly supports our vision of trusted and governed agentic AI solutions that can operate reliably within complex business processes.” SAP and other SAP products and services mentioned herein as well as their respective logos are trademarks or registered trademarks of SAP SE in Germany and other countries.
