HORNBACH Group: Full year figures in line with guidance – reduced earnings in Q4 2025/26

Based on preliminary figures, HORNBACH Holding AG & Co. KGaA (ISIN DE0006083405) has achieved its full year guidance provided on May 21, 2025. In the 2025/26 financial year, HORNBACH Group increased net sales by 3.8% to EUR 6,433.9 million (Guidance: at or slightly above* the previous year’s figure of EUR 6,200 million) and, as expected, recorded an adjusted EBIT at EUR 264.7 million, which is at** the level reported for the 2024/25 financial year (EUR 269.5 million).

However, in Q4 2025/26 (December 1, 2025 to February 28, 2026) earnings declined relative to previous year’s quarter. While net sales in Q4 2025/26 grew by 3.8% to EUR 1,296.1 million (Q4 2024/25: EUR 1,249.1 million), higher costs could not be fully offset. As a result, adjusted EBIT decreased by EUR 4.3 million or 14.0% to EUR -34.8 million (Q4 2024/25: EUR -30.5 million). Due to seasonal factors, the winter quarter (Q4) is usually the weakest quarter of the financial year with negative contribution to adjusted EBIT.

The Trading Statement for the 2025/26 financial year will be published on March 25, 2026. The final and audited financial results for the 2025/26 financial year will be released on May 19, 2026. On that day, a press conference and analyst meeting will also take place.
