ISS upgrades INDUS Holding AG’s ESG rating to ‘B-’

• INDUS ranks among the top 10 percent of Multi-Sector Holdings
• Improved terms for ESG-linked promissory note loans

Bergisch Gladbach, 14 September 2026 – INDUS Holding AG’s ISS ESG Corporate Rating has been upgraded to ‘B-’. This places INDUS among the top 10 percent of the 94 companies rated in the Multi-Sector Holdings peer group. The company’s transparency level is rated ‘very high.’

“For INDUS, sustainability is not a short-term project, but a long-term value-creation process,” said Dr. Jörn Großmann, the member of the INDUS Board of Management responsible for sustainability. “The latest upgrade to our ESG rating shows that the measures implemented in recent years are becoming increasingly visible.”

Since first receiving an ISS ESG rating in 2015, INDUS has consistently met the requirements for ‘Prime’ status. After many years of stable ratings at the ‘C+’ level, the rating has now been upgraded to ‘B-’ for the first time.

The rating upgrade has a positive impact on INDUS’ financing terms. For the ESG-linked promissory note loans issued from 2020 through 2023 with maturities of up to ten years, the interest rate on the corresponding tranches is reduced by five basis points (0.05 percentage points).
