Stabilus SE: Profit from operating activities and profit for the period significantly higher, adjusted FCF lower than in Q3 of the prior year; full-year forecast specified within the original ranges
Koblenz, July 22, 2026 - Based on preliminary figures, the profit from operating activities (EBIT[1]) of Stabilus SE (WKN: STAB1L, ISIN: DE000STAB1L8) for the third quarter of the 2026 fiscal year (quarter ended June 30, 2026) amounted to €66.1 million, significantly higher than the profit from operating activities of €24.8 million in the same quarter of the previous year. According to preliminary figures, the profit for the period in Q3 FY2026 of €51.4 million is thus also significantly higher than the profit for the period of €10.1 million in the same quarter of the previous year.
The increase in profit from operating activities and profit for the period is primarily due to the realized gain of c. €44 million (subject to customary purchase‑price adjustments) from the sale of Fabreeka and Tech Products, which closed in Q3 FY2026.
Based on preliminary figures, the adjusted free cash flow (FCF)[1] amounts to €28.6 million, below the adjusted FCF in the same quarter of the previous year of €33.3 million. This is primarily due to the change in net working capital. According to preliminary figures, the revenue amounts to €299.5 million (market expectation[2] €296.0 million, Q3 FY2025 €316.0 million), the adjusted EBIT[1] €32.2 million (market expectation[2] €30.8 million, Q3 FY2025 €33.1 million) and the adjusted EBIT[1] margin 10.8% (market expectation[2] 10.4%, Q3 FY2025 10.5%).
In light of business performance in the first nine months of FY2026 and current expectations for the remainder of the fiscal year, Stabilus is refining its forecast within the original forecast ranges and now expects in FY2026 revenue of c. €1.15 billion, an adjusted EBIT[1] margin of c. 10% and an adjusted free cash flow (FCF)[1] of c. €90 million. Previously (in its original outlook from December 8, 2025) the company has forecast a revenue of €1.1 billion to €1.3 billion, an adjusted EBIT[1] margin of 10% to 12%, and an adjusted free cash flow (FCF)[1] of €80 million to €110 million.
Stabilus will publish further information as part of its reporting on Q3 FY2026 on August 3, 2026. -------------------- [1] Cf. definition/calculation of the key figures adjusted EBIT, adjusted EBIT margin and adjusted free cash flow (FCF) in Stabilus financial reports, e.g., in the Annual Report 2025, pages 43 ff., 47 ff., 215 or in the Interim Report H1 FY2026, pages 21 ff., 26 ff., 58, that can be downloaded from the company's website at ir.stabilus.com.
