Karlsberg Brauerei publishes half-year figures for 2026

  • Revenue and gross profit increased
  • Market shares of Karlsberg and MiXery further expanded
  • EBITDA significantly improved
  • Revenue and earnings forecast confirmed

Homburg, 8 September 2026 – Karlsberg Brauerei GmbH (corporate bond, ISIN: NO0013168005, WKN: A3825C) has published its half-year results for 2026. In the first six months of 2026, the company further strengthened its market position and once again expanded the market shares of its core brands.

The Karlsberg brand performed successfully in a competitive environment. Karlsberg UrPils further consolidated its strong position and once again increased its market share in its main sales region. The MiXery brand also continued its successful performance. In the national market for alcoholic mixed beer drinks, market share increased further in both volume and value terms, whilst volume-based market leadership was expanded once again.

Overall, Karlsberg Brauerei GmbH’s gross revenue (revenue before deduction of revenue reductions and excise duties) in the first half of 2026 increased by EUR 2.1 million, or 2.9%, to EUR 75.6 million compared with the same period of the previous year. International business made a significant contribution to the positive business performance. International beverage revenue increased by 32.7% to EUR 13.1 million in the first half of 2026. Domestic business once again performed better than the market as a whole. Gross beverage revenue in Germany, at EUR 60.0 million, was only slightly below the previous year’s figure of EUR 60.7 million.

The company’s profitability increased significantly in the first half of 2026. Adjusted EBITDA rose by 17.6% to EUR 10.0 million (previous year: EUR 8.5 million), whilst adjusted EBIT improved by 48.0% to EUR 5.6 million (previous year: EUR 3.8 million). Both figures were therefore significantly above the previous year’s levels.

Markus Meyer, Managing Director of Karlsberg Brauerei GmbH: “We are particularly proud of our growing market shares, both nationally with MiXery and regionally with Karlsberg UrPils. Our international business contributed to increases in revenue and gross profit. At the same time, the adjustments to our cost structures are taking effect and contributed to a significant improvement in earnings compared with the same period of the previous year.”

Considering the business performance in the first six months and taking into account current estimates for the second half of the year, the management confirms its forecast for the 2026 financial year. Revenue for the full year is expected to be on a par with the previous year and adjusted EBITDA slightly above the previous year’s figure.

Karlsberg Brauerei's interim report as of 30 June 2026 is available on the company website at https://investoren.karlsberg.de/finanzpublikationen/ in the Financial Publications section.
